These two lots of land are located at the southern entrance to Cabarita village, along with 59 Tweed Coast and were purchased by our client who intends to build 4 dwellings - two duplexes per lot. While the zoning allows medium density housing, the site constraints along with assessment time frames, rising construction costs led to a simpler faster development solution to remain viable. The key brief was a Palm Springs inspired architecture, with light filled rooms and multifunctional spaces throughout. The intention of the multifunctional space was to allow owners to take advantage of Cabarita’s popularity and hire various sections to Air BNB trekkers at their convenience. Each duplex house is a three storey residence - Ground floor is a space for the children providing entertainment with a pool, media room and family room. Level one is a space to highlight the centre of the house with the main entrance, kitchen, garage, living room with large sliding doors onto a balcony. The level 2 the parents retreat providing a space private and elegant with its spacious bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite, private balcony and retreat.
