WHY DO WE DO IT
Creating rewarding environments for imaginative people
We create for you. As passionate creatives, we work to execute your vision - from your dream home, fruitful apartment projects, heartening aged care, enlightening education - built environments that enhance the human experience. Through strategic and mindful design, we aim to create an atmosphere that benefit all who experience it. Our designs work in unison with the planet through incorporating environmental design strategies. Connection with nature, connection with you. We create built environments that echo your vision, an empathic approach that is designing for value and impact.
HOW WE DO IT
Our design strategy follows our ethos: listen, understand, create.
These three considerations provide a framework to approach design and problem solving. We listen to your expectations, and form an architectural solution that appreciates the physical space, the environment and your intention and dreams. Our process acknowledges the importance of stepping back and understanding the true context from a client, investor and the users point of view. The architectural solution understands the true core of the issue.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST
We offer an accessible break down of the costs of each stage of an architectural project
The four stages include:
2. Concept Design
3. Detailed Design
4. Contract Documentation

SUSTAINABLE + PASSIVE DESIGN
The essence of passive building design is a building’s response to the climate.
The incorporation of sun and wind into a design sustainably maintains the comfortability of a home. Through assessing site conditions and local climate, the sun and wind can be incorporated to provide heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting. This practice is extremely important in Lightwave’s design approach. If you are looking for green star accreditation or interested in how you can gain environmental compliance – we are experts in the field.
